  Location is easy to find and the lodge has a great view of the lake. Service is great - especially the front desk. We were here to drive the Cabot trail and Debbie at the front desk gave us so many great pointers and made our trip amazing. Rooms are a bit dated/worn but are clean and comfortable. Great stay.

  Beautiful view and wonderful atmosphere.
  Had the seafood chowder as an appetizer, it was pretty good. And the stuffed haddock for an entrée, which was warm, and fresh.
  Serves was great and very friendly.
  Breakfast was the usual, eggs, bacon, cereal etc. But still very good.
  Laundry on sit, heated pool which was lovely and a nice walking trail in the back of the grounds.
  Would highly recommend, although they do not have an elevator so be prepared to carry stuff upstairs.
  Other than that, I would definitely go again!

  This was the perfect place to start our journey on the Cabot Trail. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had the most amazing view. The staff were professional, informative, friendly and willing to share tidbits of information. We had the choice of buffet or off menu for breakfast which both were delicious and plenty of food. Silver Dart Lodge is walking distance to the center of Baddeck.
  
  We would highly recommend this establishment especially if you are planning to take in the Cabot Trail...it is literally at the beginning and very convenient.

  Our room was clean and comfortable we had two easy chairs instead of the usual one. The management was friendly and very accommodating. Housekeeping was very friendly and helpful also. We had a great view and a balcony with chairs to enjoy our mornings. Overall a great experience. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

  This was a decent hotel. The pool is outside but it's a good temperature. There's lots of different activities and the rows of the different lodges are on a hill so each has a nice view of the lake. The room was a little dated, the carpet felt like it needed steam cleaning. The bed was comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly and there's a little shop with NS and Cape Breton merchandise beside it. This hotel uses room keys as all doors are external. The keys are big and hard to lose. No free breakfast but they have their own restaurant and there's other places near by.
